Changed by His Majesty: 2Peter 1:16-19. Those who were opportune to see Jesus face to face when He was on planet earth at the time He came, all had unforgettable memories of that encounter. Have you seen Jesus? Has He changed your life? Those who encountered Jesus in the first century were changed by His majesty. If anyone claims to have encountered Jesus today and yet not changed; then is either not doing what the Lord commanded or he or she is doing it the wrong way. When Jesus threw the invitation for all to come to Him in order to have rest in Matt 11:28, He meant for us to come to Him and experience a change of life, completely different from our old ways of lives.. The change required of all who come to Jesus or those who see or encounter Him is an all-round change that includes a change in lifestyle, attitude, motives and destiny. Nathaniel was a skeptical student who doubted that Jesus, a carpenters son from Galilee could be the Messaiah. His objections were not so different from those of some intellectuals today. But underneath he had questions that the religious establishments of those days could not answer. That personal encounter he had with Jesus changed his life forever. After the encounter Paul had with Jesus on the way to Damascus, Paul claimed he no longer confer with flesh and blood. Brethren and friends, let the awesome power of Gods word and the Majesty of His presence change your life for the better by surrendering your will to His, learning and obedience to His words.May we all experience the change worthy of the calling that we have received in Jesus name, amen.
