Changes are underway at the Food Pantry! The Food Pantry is undergoing a life-safety renovation to better facilitate the flow of people into and out of the Food Pantry. The new configuration will also feature additional shelving units, enabling the Food Pantry to function more like a traditional grocery store. Heres whats taken place so far... Saturday - Grand Appliance and TV (Forest Park) donated their services to move our 7 commercial size refrigerators/freezers. Trust me, that was no small task. Thanks Grand! Sunday - 20 volunteers spent their time on Sunday afternoon moving EVERYTHING from the Food Pantry to a new temporary location (same building) that will be used during the renovation. Monday - Demolition begins!
