Chapati Noodles (fun way of having the normal roti-sabji !!) Ingredients · 5 rotis/ chapattis made of normal wheat atta , cut into thin long strips · 2 teaspoons low-fat butter/ nutralite (oil can also be used) · 1/2 cup sliced onions · 1/2 cup sliced capsicum · 1 pc finely chopped garlic · 1/2 cup tomato slices · 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi) · 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder · 1/2 teaspoon black salt · 1/2 teaspoon MDH kitchen king masala (mixture of coriander, cumin, chili, turmeric, black pepper etc) or Garam Masala · 1 tablespoon lemon juice · Salt to taste · Chopped fresh coriander leaves(dhania) Method 1. Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and capsicum and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent. 2. Sprinkle a little water to avoid the onions and capsicum from burning. 3. Add the garlic, tomatoes, turmeric powder and chilli powder and sauté on a medium flame for another 5 minutes. 4. Add the black salt, kitchen king masala and salt and mix well. 5. Add the chapati strips and lemon juice & toss well. 6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves (Optional : You can add strips of other vegetables like carrots, beans, caggabe etc to this if you wish to make it more nutritious)
