Chapter 1: Prophecy! “For over centuries, your kingdom stood in front of our army forces strongly and I do respect that, But everything changes with the will of god, And so today I am here to tell you that, The kingdom that you knew as the kingdom of the Red bible is gone. But Do not fear, we will protect you and all your traditions, but the only difference comes with the Red bible, The bible will be taken as a series crime by the law and any guard who finds a Red bible in a house or a street, the owner shall be punished for his crime in the main court Thank you all” 26 years ago: “My king, some witches were caught doing witchcraft for money, I sent them to the main court and the People are waiting for your judgment.” said Lucas, the King’s personal guard. “Of course, let’s not make them wait any longer” said the king nodding to Lucas then he stood up and walked to the main court surrounded with Lucas and the guards. The main court wasn’t just a normal court; it was located in the center of the kingdom surrounded by the people, who wanted to see justice of law or curious people; it was made for important cases, mainly witchcraft since it was one of the most forbidden things in the bible, But what made the court really special is that In the main court the rightful king was the judge. It was all silence when the king walked in, Lucas stood on the platform and the case was opened. “These women are accused of doing witchcraft which is illegal and a crime by the bible and its punishment…” Lucas paused for a moment then continued with his sharp confident tone “And its punishment which is written in the red bible is death by execution” The king looked at the accused witches; they were young, so young about 14 to 16 years old. What in the world could bring you to this? Thought the king but yet he had to make the judgment which all people already knew, Nothing could beat the red bible and it’s rules, Nothing. “The Red bible is our religion and our law that our fathers gave to us” said the king looking away from the witches and continued “No one is above Law and religion and so, I must say that the judgment is death by execution” finally the king’s breath was out after holding it all that time. They took the witches one by one to the massacre, heads were flying, blood was floating and tears of the parent’s were falling. The king’s only wish now was to cry, Cry for those heads and tears but he couldn’t, he is the king and Kings can’t cry, he thought. Finally the end of this torture was near, after the last witch went on the platform to be slaughtered like the others, but this one was different from them. She had drawings all over her skin and her head was covered by a reddish black hood, she admitted to be their leader and she was so confident of herself, she took two steps forward then out of the misery and pain she talked “My king” she shouted and a guard slapped her so hard that it brought pain to who was there. The king raised his hand to the guard ordering him to let her say her last words hoping that she will pray or ask god for forgiveness but she didn’t, she said something totally different. “The kingdom that you all knew is going to vanish, just as the Red Bible will “she paused for a moment taking everybody’s attention including the king’s then she continued” And by whom? By the ones you call princes or should I say by one of them” she raised her head looking to the king with cold eyes “ by the way, Congratulations on the twins” She shouted then laughed a laugh that no normal human can do, a devil laugh. “Execute her” shouted the king angrily. A new head was up in the air! All the people in the court were staring at the king after what she has just said, He was hesitating at first but then he took his breath and gained courage by shouting “Don’t believe what this wicked witch just said, we don’t take words from a witch into consideration, the next king will build the future of this kingdom because he is going to be raised well and we will do our best to make sure of that, I assure you that he will make a good shining future for this kingdom” Then he walked away hoping that the people did already forget what happened. Back to the palace, the king walked angrily threw doors, till he reached Melina’s room, the queen’s. The door opened and he walked in, the pregnant wife was just standing beside the window over there, what a beauty! He thought but still frustrated. “Henry” she said running to him and hugging him between her two soft hands then she fired a bomb, “I have great news, Love” she paused raising her head , looking to his eyes she said the last thing he wanted to hear “we are having twins!” **********
