There is she is, lying down, posing for her picture—looking very mellow and beautiful. At 2 years old, this girl was reportedly found as a stray on a Brooklyn corner but clearly, she hasn’t been out on the street for very long. Clean, in good health, very cooperative during her medical exam, and at a decent weight—its clear that somebody somewhere took good care of her. But nobody’s come for Ruby and now ACC has decided they have no more time for her. Ruby is on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. So tonight, this gorgeous girl with the shiny black coat is looking for that special someone who can close their eyes and picture themselves ambling down the street for long walks with Ruby at their side. Someone who can see all those heads turning to take a second look at this outstanding dog. Someone who is ready for a loyal, loving lifelong companion.
