Charles Thomas 10/13/33-1/4/96 Forever in our hearts.... My Dad was a wonderful, loving man. He was a strong believer in Christ and studied his bible regularly and led studies. He was an amazing Dad who loved his kids. I remember sitting on his lap while he read to me, and I remember snoozing while he lectured me. He loved being a Father and loved being a grandparent even more. He used to take great joy in spending a day with my kids, teaching them at PopPops school of excellence. He would send them home with special treats every time they left. He called their bag of treats their picnic bag. He was a poet, a list maker, loved to sing, loved pistachios and drank endless pots of coffee all day long. The world was and is a better place because he was here. I was blessed with amazing parents and lucky to still have my mom around. I know he would be proud of me, my kids, my grandbabies!! What a legacy...he has been gone for 19 years, but his memory lives on.
