Cheryl Kalara Pengelly asked Hi. Our male Great Dane who just turned 11 mths old this week. ( our first Dane) He started limping on his one hind leg last week. He laid around for a couple days. Are less but still drinking. Now this week hes started limping on his other back leg & one front leg. Is it normal for him to get what I think is growing pains? He seems more tired. But still happy & wanting to go for car rides, be with us etc. Hes been going out and lying in the sun ( its been really warm here ) and also in our kids huge sandbox. Hes been stretching out in there? Hes on the same food since we brought him home from the breeders which the vet says is good. Our vet is closed on weekends & I dont feel its an emergency as it went away with his other leg . Oh and hes living his hips and shoulders rubbed right now. He will come sit on any family member that will gently massage his joints with that happy Dane face on. Hoping Ive described it well enough and appreciate any suggestions!!
