Shocking Observation of The Day: If you have to use a calculator to figure how much is left on a $18.37 bill after applying a $10.00 gift certificate; working the cash register may not be the best place for you. Im just saying. Im not making this up. The cashier actually looked puzzled when I handed her the bill and the gift certificate. She also had to make 3 attempts after pulling out the calculator to arrive at the correct answer (the decimal was giving her difficulty). Initially I was chiding her that she could do this in your head, but when she said in all seriousness that she could not, I immediately shut up so as to not further frustrate her. Praying hard for the Youth of today!!
