SHELTER DOGS !!!! A SHELTER POEM Today my friend Carolyn was in tears, not knowing how to save a precious pup in shelter that was in pain. Her pain and the pain so many of us feel by not saving all the lives of the homeless, the suffering, and the abused animals was with me most of the day. I wanted to somehow let the people out there know how much each one of you mean in reaching out to save lives. From the hands on volunteers, the rescues, the fosters, the advocates that share and share and get the names and lives out all over social media. Each and every person has a hand in the cause to save lives. The frustration is in not saving every life, with that comes the feeling of defeat. Today I am here to remind all of you that your work, big, small, on the streets, on your computers, praying for miracles; no matter in what area.....you all make a difference. I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER THAT! I want to thank all of you; the animal advocates for speaking out for the voiceless. You certainly make a difference by giving of yourself and giving to those that suffer. If you know of someone that is helping...please share this with them as GRATITUDE FOR THE LOVE AND CARE THEY GIVE IN HELPING TO SAVE LIVES
