Chicago, IL RESCUE ONLY AT CHICAGO ACC VIDEO: youtube/watch?v=IwAp-FrbnOk&feature=youtu.be Ice_M_A088432_PB99 OR B124 Ice is a year old pit mix who is incredibly affectionate and appears to love other dogs based on his enthusiastic play bowing and huge body wags every time she is near another one...will test her in playgroup as soon as we can. he is very smart and responsive to people.... learned sit very quickly. Loved belly rubs. Ice is a MALE, not a female, apparently. PLAYGROUP: Ice has limited socialization with other dogs. He is not agressive in anyway, but should have a slow introduction and his interactions should be managed as he learns how to interact with other dogs. --------------- APPROVED TO RESCUE: If you are an approved Homeward Bound Partner you have two options: Rescue Interest: This type of hold gives the group five days – find foster, make arrangements for transport, etc. At any point during the hold, the group can convert the hold to a Firm Hold. During the interest hold period, another group can pull the dog. This hold cannot be extended. Firm hold: This type of hold means the group is committed to pulling the dog. The group has three days to pick up the dog and the hold cannot be extended. An email needs to be sent to [email protected] with the dog’s inventory number and the name of the group. The group should also indicate in the email who is picking up the dog if it is not an individual listed on the Homeward Bound paperwork completed by the group. WANT TO FOSTER: The dogs featured on this page are NOT available for direct adoption. If you are interested in adopting a dog featured on the page, please reach out to one of our approved Homeward Bound partners and apply to foster or foster to adopt. A list of the groups that participate in this program can be found here: tinyurl/cacchowtofoster ADOPTABLE DOGS: We have many wonderful dogs available for adoption, as well! If you would like to adopt a dog, please visit the shelter at 2741 S. Western or visit our CACC Adoptable Pets FB page tinyurl/caccadoptables Questions for the volunteer Transfer Team can be directed to cacctransfers@yahoo
