Chicago grass roots response to the SOTU. This is what Americans should be hearing and from many more citizens around our nation... Cut the self serving politicians out of our discussions. Keep it American to American. The knuckle heads in DC have been taking care of themselves and their special interests for years behind their closed doors. We can solve our nations problems ourselves with honest discourse for all to see and hear. This is what has terrorized politicians, talking heads on TV and elitists for the last 20 years... losing control of us in our modern information age where you and I can share our thoughts and ideas directly between us all. This is why politicians on both sides of the aisle try to divide Americans and keep us in small controllable groups. This is why all Americans need to drop the labels, prejudices and shallow lazy thinking. We need to get off the Bullshit-Go-Round, get together, discuss meaningful solutions to real issues and take this country back for ourselves. Off soapbox
