Chicano and African American students taking their education into their own hands. All you hear from folks is that students, parents and their communities dont care enough for Black and Brown students to succeed in their education. Yet, when we see these communities stand up, we act as if it isnt happening. They get no airtime. At least listen to us. They think because of the area we come from, that people wont have support for us, said senior Tyarei White.
