JOB-767076 Description To work in partnership with the Contract Manager to effectively and efficiently manage the daily operation of the flexible solutions contract in accordance with company, contract and customer requirements. The Chief Engineer will be required to provide consistent communications with and supervision of, the Flexible Solutions Team assigned to the contract and to assist the Contract Manager in decisions regarding business operations and service delivery. The position will require an enthusiastic, customer and staff focused individual who can demonstrate the qualities necessary to steer and develop the contract towards the level of performance required by current and future customers of the contract. The majority of this role will be carried out from the office base in Dublin but it will also require travel to sites and at times you will need to be hands on to support the team of engineers. Skills Requirements Must hold a recognised electrical/mechanical trade qualification. Previous demonstrable experience of working within the facilities management/services industry at supervisory/managerial level preferably with experience of managing a maintenance service(s) provided to a multi-site client. Must have demonstrable experience and knowledge of electrical testing and inspection and general building maintenance. Please visit serco/careers for a full job description.
