Chief Gunners Mate (SW) James Jim Patrick Morrison, SR., 63, US Navy Ret., of Vaiden, MS, died 23 May 2014. Jim joined the US Navy in 1969, served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He retired in 1996 with 24 years of devoted service to our Nation. He was a member of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders. He loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife Beverly, two sons and a daughter, and seven grandchildren. GMC Morrison is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 10 Sep 2014 at approximately 1300 hours from the Administration Building. PGR has been invited to attend the service by his family. We will be there to stand tall silent and proud in honor of this American Warrior, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
