Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said the doctors should return to work because their first duty is towards patients. The government will take action against the wrong-doers but that decision would be taken on the basis of an inquiry report.(TOI). My questions to him : a) Before reminding us of our duty, what is your first duty towards your citizens. Is it not providing proper law & order in the state which you govern or let it all be a goonda raj as it is since your party has come to power. b) You are saying that the govt will take proper action against the wrong- doers on the basis of enquiry report, if that is so then why the police raided the hostel and brutally assaulted the doctors ( even invalids ) including teachers and finally booked & jailed 24 of then without any inquiry. It seems you have two sets of rules one for the general population & other for the privileged few. I have this complaints against the MEDIA also. They have started highlighting the plight of the patients due to the strike of the doctors, but not a single paper or TV news channel showed what happened on the night of 28th when the police raided the hostel & mercilessly beat up defenceless medicos dragging them out of their rooms. Everyone is reminding us of our duty - to treat the patients. I ask you do we not have any fundamental rights like security to ourselves OR do keep treating patients despite getting getiing beaten blue by the same persons whose duty is to protect. They are naming the persons who have died since the start of the strike ( few of them may have died despite getting treatment), but no one has named 24 jr doctors who have been put in jail or those who have been injured seriously and have sustained fractures due to the beating by the police on that night. Do we take it that media is totally sold because it is depended on the financial bribe in the form of govt. Advertisements # gsvmkanpur
