Chiefest of Sinners 1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. This is Paul the Apostle expressing his own attitude towards his sinfulness, he thought he was the lead (chief) sinner in the world, this could be because he had marched Christians to their death prior to his conversion and transformation into a Christian. Paul surely wasnt the most wicked man in the world at that time, but he viewed himself as such and we too should adopt the same attitude toward ourselves! It is good for us not to think too highly of ourselves, otherwise we look down on others, and we measure and compare ourselves among the brethren, which is not wise. God is no respecter of persons, He loves us all equally despite our achievements or failures, lets remember this as we fight the good fight, consider yourself the chiefest of sinners today!
