Children’s Research Network for Ireland and Northern Ireland Conference Call for abstracts - Caring for our Children: Lessons learnt – informing future policy and practice Abstracts are now being accepted for the 3rd Children’s Research Network for Ireland and Northern Ireland Conference which will take place on Wednesday, 10th December 2014 at Chartered Accountants House in Dublin. The theme of this year’s Conference is Caring for our Children: Lessons learnt – informing future policy and practice. The aims of the Conference are to promote high quality research, policy, and practice in children and young people’s issues and to provide opportunities for networking for all sectors working in this area. The conference agenda and speakers will be announced shortly. Submit an abstract We invite people from all sectors (i.e. academia, statutory, community, voluntary), North and South, to submit abstracts for oral and poster sessions on the following themes: Caring for children in state care / looked after children Children’s health: physical, psychological and emotional Caring and supporting families Children’s rights:equality and justice Research methods Caring for our children in schools Early years education and care To submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation, please complete the abstract submission form (available on our website - see link below) and email it with the word Abstract in the subject line to [email protected]. The closing date for receipt of abstract submissions is 15th September 2014. Applicants will be informed whether the abstract has been accepted for presentation by 31st October 2014.
