China has accused Noynoy of being a barefaced liar for claiming that the massacre of the Hong Kong residents who were tourists in Manila was not discussed when he met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the sidelines of the meetings of East Asia leaders in Brunei last Oct. 9. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said Aquino’s remarks are “totally untrue. I have already briefed journalists on Oct. 11 about Premier Li Keqiang’s short discussion with President Aquino on the Hong Kong hostage incident in Brunei on the sidelines of the meetings of East Asia Leaders in the VIP room of the venue,” Hua said, adding that during the dialog, China had urged “the Philippine side to earnestly respect the feelings of the families of the victims, take this issue seriously and offer a fair and reasonable solution as soon as possible.” What is so stupid about Noynoy’s barefaced lie to foreign journalists in a forum recently when the question on this issue of the August massacre of HK tourists, was that there was no reason for him to lie about having discussed the issue. So why did he lie? To make the problem disappear? He made it worse, as he should have known that China would not take the lie sitting down. As a consequence, Noynoy has been held up as barefaced liar, which affects his credibility internationally. Locally, he has already lost all credibility with the Filipinos over his claims that he walks the straight path, is honest and transparent when in fact, he has been shown up as the biggest corruptor of Congress as he has been proved to have bribed the legislators to have a Chief Justice whom he dislikes for not toeing his line, impeached and convicted. And he tries to cover up the crime of bribery by claiming that the additional pork came from his Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP). There was one instance when the issue of the Manila massacre cropped up that he had claimed he was not going to apologize, since it was not the fault of the country and the nation, and as president, he will not apologize for something that he was not responsible for, placing the blame on just one person — the crazed dismissed policeman who was the hostage taker and had killed at least eight Hong Kongites. That was pretty stupid of Noynoy to come up with such a statement, given the fact that it is the job of the government and its officials to ensure that the hostages are rescued and the hostage taker arrested. Instead, Noynoy and his local officials on the ground bungled the job, which is why so many were killed and injured. There were many instances during that August standoff with the hostage taker taken down without any life being lost. Yet there went Noynoy, insisting that neither he nor his local officials and the rescue team were responsible, which is why he refuses to apologize. But if this is really how his logic works — or better still, not work at all — why then did Noynoy apologize to the Taiwanese government over the shooting incident where a Taiwanese fisherman was killed by Philippine Coast Guards? Following his illogic, it should follow that he should have used the very same justification for not apologizing to Taiwan since neither he, nor the coast guards who had shot the fisherman were responsible for the fisherman’s death. Yet Noynoy apologized officially to the Taiwanese government. Why can’t he do the same for the Hong Kongites and the Hong Kong leadership, which he should have done in the first place. The way things are, instead of having good relations with China, which both China and the Philippines enjoyed before Noynoy became president through a fraudulent automated polls, what the Philippine has with China is a confrontational relationship that has seriously damaged ties not just with Hong Kong but with Mainland China. Noynoy, through his injustice Secretary Leila de Lima, has been portraying his non-allies in the Senate, whom he wants his Ombudsman to charge them with plunder and jail them, has called the three senators “national security risks.” In truth, the biggest national security threat who moreover fails miserably in upholding the national interest is Noynoy. He is a danger not only to the country, but also to the Filipino people.
