Chitra Tyagarajan, an enterprising engineer from Chennai has developed a process,wherein,plastic waste can be converted into Diesel.Aother engineering student,Shubhanjan Saha, has developed DRONE,a pilotless aircraft,which has powerful cameras, on board, can fly for 90 minutes at a stretch.The remote controlled aircraft,with certain improvements,can be a boon to the Defense,surveillance agencies , and MET Dept.Shubhanjan has written to all concerned, but there seems to be no response.WHY THIS SORT OF LETHARGY ON THE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT? SHOULD THE HARD WORK OF CHITRA AND SHUBHANJAN GO WASTE ?
