Chorley CC U13s adventure in the Lancashire section of the ECB National Cup finished today at Liverpool Cricket Club with them finishing runners-up to a very talented Clitheroe side. Chorley beat HorwichCC in a really exciting semi-final. Horwich posted 111-3 in their 20 overs and Chorley surpassing their score after 19.1 overs. Brad scored 26 and bowled well with figures of 1-10 in his 4 overs. The final came straight afterwards and Clitheroe (who had 3 Lancs players) always looked the likely winners when they scored 133. Brad again batted well for 19 - before being caught on the boundary attempting a six but Chorley fell short, finishing with a creditable 101. Great day. Really proud of Brad and his team mates who held their own against the best Lancs has to offer.
