Christian Guémy is a French Graffiti Artist known as “C215 who has garnered some fame for his intricate, colorful stencil works. He started spray painting in 2005 and since then his work has appeared on walls all over the world and as one off works of art. His works attempt a revitalization of street imagery: they are bright portraits of children, the homeless, religious figures, or other everyday people. C215 admired classical portraiture from childhood and now creates portraits of people he meets or likes and places them out on the street. His particular interest in creating child portraits was sparked by the experience of having other artists creating portraits of his own daughter.
