Christianity and June’s web site… I had always thought that I - TopicsExpress

Christianity and June’s web site… I had always thought that I had only about a half dozen or so, pages or essays on June’s website that could be called Christian or Religious…those I have tried to keep ecumenical so as to be of interest to all who have a faith based life… Actually I find that I have 22 such pages or essays and they are scattered about the website and can be found in most categories of Alzheimer’s subjects and June’s life…the greater number however are found in the drop down menu under the label of “June’s Life”. I have collected all the 22 references to Christian or faith based subjects and referenced them with links on a special page. A very subtle theme of a Christian nature is found on the top masthead of June’s home page…a shadowy figure is crossing a bridge into the fog while a small cross can be seen in the distance…the significance intended is a figure of June disappearing into the fog of Alzheimer’s while journeying towards the distant Christian cross….there are also two small picture box icons near the bottom of the home page that when clicked on will bring the reader to a special page of June’s based on her own personal library of faith…HOPE for Today with June is a page that has a Bible verse and commentaries for daily contemplation…it is changed daily…the other box is a discussion of the dozen or so charitable memorials in June’s name. For those readers who have no interest in the Christian focused pages or essays can still find about 250 such pages among the various Alzheimer’s related categories…of course there are a few of tributes in honor of June among the various pages. Like I have said before, we have an average of 1000 page visits per day by persons from 140 plus countries…visiting one or another or several of the 270 pages and essays… So please take a look at the new page on June’s web site called “Christianity – June and Alzheimer’s” and see if there is something you find of interest… junebergalzheimers/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=270&Itemid=600
