Christmas (A Celebration of Christ) Seeing a world that was - TopicsExpress

Christmas (A Celebration of Christ) Seeing a world that was desperately in need of a Savior, God spoke to the world through His prophets and promised blessed mercy and grace. Therefore, the Lord, Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and will call Him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 (NIV). Because the blood of animal sacrifice was only a temporary covering of the sins of the people every year, there had to be made a more perfect sacrifice for sins. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent his One and Only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 (NIV). Other scriptures testify to Gods purpose for Jesus birth among humans. For God so loved the world that He gave his One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) (Yeshua) shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but, to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17 (NIV). Beginning with the three kings who brought expensive gifts to the manger, where Christ was born, men have come to Jesus (Yeshua) to worship Him and pay homage to Him. During the ministry of our Lord, Jesus apostles recognized Him as the promised Messiah. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 1 John 4:14-15 (NIV). God always sends a seed to remedy a situation: Elijah, Samson, John the Baptist, and many more were sent as babies to fulfill a purpose. Many scriptures foretold of Jesus (Yeshua) coming to earth in the Old Testament; and He was then acknowledged by many in the New Testament. For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace, there will be no end. He will reign on Davids throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7 (NIV). God divested Himself of all His glory to be born as a humble servant among us, as the seed of a baby, born of a virgin. But, after he (Joseph) had considered this, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means God with us). Matthew 1:20-23 (NIV). As in the time of Jesus sojourn on earth, there have been many skeptics who deny that Jesus is the promised Messiah. Science has tried to disprove the bible; but, geological and scientific findings always have shown the Word of God to be infallible. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:2-3 (NIV). Only the sacrificial blood of Christ can save us from our sins. Anyone claiming to be a minister, evangelist, teacher, preacher, apostle, or prophet that denies the crucifixion and sacrificial blood of Christ for our sins is an imposter and part of the antichrist! Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist - denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 1 John 2:22-24 (NIV). Your opinion is just your opinion! If what you believe does not line up with Gods Word, you are in darkness and the light of the blessed Gospel of Jesus Christ is not shining in your heart. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 1 John 4:15 (NIV). Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday, Jesus! Regardless of when Jesus was actually born, we celebrate His birthday on December 25th. I, personally celebrate Jesus all year round; and especially all through December. God bless you all. Shalom (Peace) to you all.
