Christmas Eve, as I headed home from Kingwood on 59, I was passed by a car traveling at an ungodly speed. He passed my car on the right and rocked my car in his wake so hard, that I felt like I was losing control of my car. Perhaps it was just unexpected and his wake seemed that strong. I can tell you my chest was still aching 20 minutes later. The story below is sad. At least, at the very least, the racers were killed and not innocent people. Why do people deliberately, and in premeditated fashion, endanger innocent people? What is the difference in street racing and drunk driving as far as safety is concerned. Why would anyone chance killing themselves and others for kicks? I support very, very tough penalties for street racers. I say it should draw 10 to 20. It is just unnecessary, criminal, narcissistic behavior. DISGUSTING! The families of these dead people are left to suffer, grieve and wonder why. Wonder what God things of street racers?
