Christmas Song of the Day XVI-- After multiple viewings, it appears as though this holiday narrative provides plenty of questions and few answers: 1-- George Michael brought the brunette to this chalet last year, bought here that pendant, and Dec. 26 she dumped him to presumably date Andrew Ridgeley. (SO NOT COOL, RIDGELEY: SHE BROKE HIS HEART! SOME FRIEND YOU ARE...) 2-- The whole gang decides to as fate would have it hold Christmas at that very chalet this year---and George decides to show hes not still hurting by bringing the blonde. But he cant hide his feelings for long... (TWO WRONGS DONT MAKE A RIGHT, GEORGE. I HOPE THE POOR GIRL KNOWS WHAT SORT OF HORNETS NEST OF MIXED EMOTIONS SHES GETTING INTO) 3-- The brunette not only is content to return to the chalet--but shes given the pendant to Ridgeley. (JUST STOMP ON HIS HEART WITH THE STILETTO). 4-- Who gets wood for the fire without wearing gloves (1:32)? Especially when he has them at the 2:04 mark for the snowball fight. (ALSO, THATS CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH WOOD FOR THE FIRE OR STOVE...) 5-- at the 1:17 mark the brunette is clearly on the couch about 5-10 feet away from the tree...and then once George starts decorating shes magically there at 1:22. But dont worry, shes available to kiss Ridgley when he decorates the tree at 1:44. (HEARTLESS...) 6-- how are the friends oblivious to this whole thing? George and the brunette basically telegraph glances at the dinner table...he refuses to participate in the snowball fight, etc. (MAYBE THEY DO SEE BUT DONT WANT TO GET INVOLVED... FUN WEEKEND WALKING ON EGGSHELLS...) 7-- who do you blame-- Ridgeley for dating Georges ex, the brunette for dating Georges best friend or George for bringing a new girl to what was such a special place one year ago? (THEY ALL DESERVE ONE ANOTHER) 8-- The guy who brought the skis? Probably never had a chance to use them and is cursing all the way home that he brought the skis in the first place.
