Christs Church on earth is still imperfect. Not in Doctrine, which was given to Her directly by the Holy Spirit of God from the Father, to give to/for the whole worlds sake). He established Her in the world to be able to grow in the world. When She grows in the world, to receive more members/souls and to extend Christs Presence throughout the world - to be of Christ in the world, not of the world in Christ - the Church in Heaven grows, or expands, in preparation to receive those presently in the world of the Churchs members. Christ is already and always at work preparing a place for us within the Bosom of the Eternal Father, atop the Holy Mountain of God. Nothing retaining any imperfection can enter into Heaven. Nothing lacking Perfection can become part of - or belong in/to - the Church Triumphant (the Mystical Body of Christ in Heaven). Only that/who which has been perfected, brought to Perfection in Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, can enter into Heaven. An imperfect creature cannot endure in a perfect place. They either leave their imperfection, or lose perfection. To be able to move about freely in Heaven, we must first be made perfect. God has made, according to His Will for us and for the sake of our *perfect* happiness, our awaited dwelling place in Heaven perfect. It was shaped and built by Perfect Hands. Imagine the images we have of Cathedrals which have been built all around the world. Much as these have been intended by God, their material construct/structure was built by the efforts of human handiwork. Therefore, these Cathedrals in the imperfect world retain a trace or two of imperfection in their design. So, imperfect creatures can enter and move about freely, appreciate and enjoy being within these Cathedral dwellings. But Heaven is not the land of imperfection that the world is. How often does the prospect of being perfect, the expectation to be perfect, seem oppressive to us imperfect creatures within ourselves and our limited capacities? In the modern world especially, this is a very prevalent notion, although misconstrued for the sake of generating the way of Perdition (along and through which the Antichrist is seated enthroned and dictates - yes, we are in a very real war) against the Churchs Way of Perfection, that is, of Her Ever-Living Spouse. We dont appreciate Perfection, but now glorify imperfection. Just so, in the Perfect Dwelling being made to await us, we would not be able to move about freely within, that we may enjoy it fully as intended, if we will to retain our imperfection. It would be too overwhelming for our imperfected senses to bear the experience of Perfection; we would not be able to appreciate it, and God is not willing to force His gifts on us. Because God is not willing to force His gifts on us, He sent His Son, born of a Virgin woman, to invite us back into His favor, Mercy, reciprocal Unconditional Love, and His Joy. To Redeem us and offer us Eternal Salvation as His gift (not our merit, right, or entitlement - each salvation by works and salvation by faith alone and sola Scriptura are indisputable). Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is Perfect. (Matthew 5:48) *** The life and time we have been given on earth is for us to be in the world, not of the world, for precisely this reason. It is not a time for us to grasp at or seize at Gods Perfection for ourselves, as though we could ever be *static* in Gods Perfection. God is not inactive; He is always in action, always *dynamic*. Not static. For those of us, the human race/species, created by God to be in His Image and after His likeness, we too must allow ourselves to be *dynamically* transformed by God. If we think we can be statically perfect in this world or anywhere else, we are already existing as those who are dead in/to the Perfection intended for us. It is for those of us human beings in the world to enter fully into the Life of His Church, receive His salvific grace through Baptism therein, and receive the Life of Christs Body and Blood in the Eucharist, to carry our Cross and persevere in His Cross, in order to climb the Holy Mountain of God, to the Perfection of God. To be brought to perfection in the Cross of Christ, and to be eternally happy with God/Christ after our life in the world is done. *** Before the Incarnation, the souls of the just had the bosom of Abraham, the Patriarch of faith. After the Incarnation, the Church established by Christ upon Peter. The ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC, APOSTOLIC CHURCH. * Nothing and nowhere else, because nothing else was established by Him - the divine Word of God - with Himself as the Foundation/Founder and hence nothing else has the Guidance and Guardianship of the Holy Spirit of God over and within for direction.
