Support Cindy Sheehan and the Tour De Peace: Central Ohioans For Peace and the Franklin County Green Party will be hosting a “meet and greet” with noted peace activist and author Cindy Sheehan and other Tour De Peace riders on Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 from 7:00—8:30 pm at the Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43214. The event is free and open to the public although donations in support of the Tour are requested and encouraged. The Tour De Peace started in April in Vacaville, California at the grave site of Cindy’s son Casey who was killed in action in the Iraq War. The Tour will end on July 3, 2013 with a ride from Arlington National Cemetery to the White House in Washington, D.C.
