Dear Lord, As I throw my hat into the ring today, I know that I have crossed the rubicon. Theres no going back until victory is won. My friend and God, like Paul of old I have planted, and my numerous supporters have watered and will continue to water like Apollos of old but I know its only you that giveth increase. Lord, some trust in some godfathers, others in some false gods but I trust in your name. And as you liveth Lord, I take this bold step of fate even as I venture from the known to the unknown with rock-solid confidence that you do not lead where your grace cannot sustain. After all, you are God of all flesh, and theres nothing impossible for you. Like my friend, King David cried unto you saying ...for thy names sake deliver me, and you delivered him, I desperately plead that you give me victory for the sake of your name. Lord, honor your name in my life once again that the world may know that I have no other god but you. As you do it, like the psalmist did, my soul shall rejoice in the Lord; it shall exult in His salvation. All my bones will say, Lord, who is like you who delivers the afflicted from him whos too strong for him? Amen.
