Circa 1940. The deceaseds family, wearing white headbands, follow the hearse carrying K.G. Louie as it travels down Chinatown to the cemetery. The entourage is in front of the Rice Bowl restaurant. Pedestrians stop on the sidewalk to watch the procession. Chinatowns East Gate is visible on the right. Mr. Louie is one of the founders of Chinatown and is listed as auditor for the Los Angeles Chinatown Project Association. The mourners are, L to R: Betty Louie, in a white headscarf; Ronald Louie, William Louie, Eugene Louie, Raymond Louie, Houser[?] Louie and Henry Louie.
