Circuit Court Judge Jeffery Kremer, chief of Milwaukee County’s Circuit Court, said a looming $17.6-million cut in court funding statewide will mean longer waits for people seeking a temporary restraining order, getting divorced or filing a small-claims action. Waiting lines for justice will get longer, Kremer warned in a WisconsinEye Legally Speaking show taped April 4. Of all counties, Milwaukee County has the largest caseload - about 125,000 a year.
