City Hall launch of the 15th edition of Gemma Raeburn-Baynes TASTE OF THE CARIBBEAN...Proud to serve as Honorary Co-President with RBC Executive Vice-President Tony Loffreda...the Festival;s theme of TRIUMPH OVER ADVERSITY says it all about the great work this endeavour does in helping disadvantaged young people overcome fear and prejudice and build lives...tremendously compelling special guest this year was Daniel Weldon Thomas, Special Events chef to President Barack Obama...thanks to Tony Loffreda for making that possible...special thanks to Pierrefonds-Roxboro Mayor and Montreal Executive Committee member Jim Beis who graciously, and eloquently, hosted the event on behalf of the City of Montreal.....great work at the launch by TOTC Vice-President Thierry Carries...Pls.note: Mr.Loffreda is missing from some pictures as he had to leave early to go to another engagement where was was honored with CFO Canadas Mr. Quebec award.
