Classical Conversations Lancaster is growing! We are NOW HIRING TUTORs for our FOUNDATIONS Program (K4 - 6th grade) . If you have always want to be apart of this Magnificent program but didnt know how you could afford it, here is your chance! Position: Meets weekly for 24 weeks during school year, with homeschool students enrolled in Classical Conversations “Foundations” program. Tutor provides leadership and encouragement while facilitating classroom in the five core components of the program which include: New Memory work in the seven subjects (History, Timeline, Latin, Science, Math, Geography & English), Weekly Oral Presentations, Fine Arts, Science Experiment/ Projects & weekly review. All from a Biblical, Christian worldview. Training and support in is provided. Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a love of teaching and experience in working with elementary age students. Have a minimum of one year homeschool experience. Desire to learn and embrace the Classical model of education and willingness to learn new subject material is necessary. Attendance at a Southern California 3-day parent practicum for Instructor Training this summer is required.
