Clayspace resident artists Michelle Kuo and Sue Borghesi will be exhibiting at the Growing Place Art Festival this Saturday, June 22nd from 10 to 4 at the Naperville location 25W471 Plank Rd. Over 40 artists will be showing their nature inspired artwork in and around the beautiful gardens. Check out the events information below. Join garden designer Amanda Thomsen, author of Kiss My Aster: A Graphic Guide to Creating a Fantastic Yard Totally Tailored to You for an exploration of your gardening personality as part of the Gardener’s Art Festival on Saturday, June 22nd at The Growing Place garden center in Naperville on Plank Road. The Gardener’s Art Festival combines artwork and accents inspired by nature within the botanic garden atmosphere of The Growing Place gardens. It features more than 40 garden artists, live jazz music, talks and refreshments. Enjoy gourmet cupcakes from Cupcakes for Courage and coffee, tea and organic hot dogs from Mojo Express. She will share her eclectic style and unique sense of garden humor during her high energy presentation.
