Clear human love is a mode of relational superfunction that, under proper conditions, accelerates learning and radicalizes memory. It arises in part from the interplay of polarized likenesses of identity and purpose across a shared gap or array of related ‘distances’. Human cultural streams and artifacts represent ‘transcriptions’ of qualities of these often florid expressions of relational momentum and developmental accelerations. But the artifacts have a peculiar quality. By their existence as articles of trade and conservation, they compete directly with their living sources for attention, enaction, contagion, reproduction, and dominance. Those sources have no human champions or voices because they are unrepresented, and must remain thus to be what they are.
