Clinic visit today for a follow up from Lenas picc placement. Only good thing... she is finally over 40 pounds!!!!! Since her g-tube placement on Valentines Day she has gained over 3 pounds! She got a special accomplishment bead for that (our clinic participates in Beads of Courage, read about it!) Jamie, the child life specialist, picked out a princess one, so fitting :) PFTs not so good. They were not so great compared to her usual levels and have been told that the picc line stays in until at least December 9th. Was hoping to not have it for her dance recital, but at least there is no big costume change, just the skirt! And its long sleeve! She was a champ today, had to have her dressing changed twice and ouch I am sure those bandages hurt coming off. My girls are amazing, wish I had some of their strength.
