Clinton’s Potential Running Mate to Court Illegals? Hillary’s no idiot (feel free to disagree), and as the border crisis continues to remain inflamed, and as more illegals set up residence in America, it appears Mrs. Clinton might be ready and willing to use these events to her benefit. So how is she doing that? It comes down to who Mrs. Clinton is looking to as a possible VP candidate. According to the Daily Mail: Clinton is reportedly eying Incoming Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro for the role of vice president should she run again and is keeping the former San Antonio, Texas, mayor and his twin brother, Rep. Joaquin Castro, ‘very close’ just in case, says the Washington Post. Not only is Castro a Latino who might be able to use his heritage to court many hispanics in the country, his roll as secretary for HUD might make it even more attractive for many to cast him their vote. As the secretary for HUD, Castro is well connected to one division of the government that is helping to foster a climate of acceptance for illegals. With amnesty clearly on Democrat lips, this might be the thing that fosters a tidal rush of immigrants into the nation. Clinton has kept Castro very close these past few months. In fact, Secretary of State recently had dinner with him. This ticket does not bode well for Conservatives, who have watched their country erode under a constant stream of offenses to both personal and national liberty. The border crisis really shows no sense of slowing down as the rise of unaccompanied illegals is still surging. And whether or not Democrats care to realize it, America’s back will soon be broken by the stress that illegal immigration is placing on the nation.
