Co Tipperary Golf & Country Club Notes of 01-12-12 Week 4 of our Winter League was completed on Sunday 30th November. Players now have to have cards for week 5 and 6 submitted by Sunday 14th December. The leading scorers for week 3 and 4 were: Week 3 Division 1 – Liam O’Donovan (8) 25 Division 2 – Joe Treacy (11) 24 Division 3 – Darren Hayes (15) 24 Division 4 – Niall Horgan (19) 25 Week 4 Division 1 – Andrey Rangalov (9) 26 Division 2 – Johnny Maher (14) 24 Division 3 – Pat Hayes (17) 26 Division 4 – Pat O’Gorman (19) 25 Congratulations to Liam O’Donovan who is the Club Player of the Year and also to Michael Slattery who was victorious in the final of our club singles competition. Ladies The semi-final of our Winter League will be completed on Saturday 6th December. The final will be played on Sunday 7th December after the AGM. Players who are not involved in the final can play in the 9 Hole Christmas competition. Re-entry is permitted. Members All members are invited to our complimentary Christmas get together with Willie Bun with top class prizes!!!!!! On Sunday 21st December, shotgun start at 1.00pm. This will be a Team event and will be followed afterwards with mulled wine and mince pies. Please enter your name in notification on notice board so we can arrange teams in advance. Winter Golf Classic is running until 30th March 2015 Team of 4, best 2 scores on each hole, top 2 team’s (one net & one gross) to qualify per month for Grand Finals in May 2015. Full handicaps apply. Members €8.00, visitors €15.00 (Sunday to Friday) €20.00 on Saturdays. Also golfers can enjoy our leisure centre, pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi for €5.00 after their round of golf.
