Coastal Zone Act Press Conference Friday, June 27th at 1:30pm I hope all will come out to recognize and celebrate the protection of Delawares Coastal Zone. Throughout the Acts 43 years, special interest have continually sought to undermine it authority to protect our coast. Delaware Citizens must practice eternal vigilance, as some members of the legislature and business groups plan to mount another attach on the Act after the fall election. Audubon became aware of this during a meeting of business interests during which the group discussed how Rep. Valerie Longhurst had told them they could not go after changes to the Act until after the 2014 election.
