Coffee with the Cops The San Antonio Police Department will host “Coffee with the Cops” at a participating McDonald’s located at 1819 S. New Braunfels on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 8:00am to 10:00am. Coffee with the Cops is a community engagement opportunity for residents to interact with officers working in their neighborhood. San Antonio Police Chief Anthony Trevino, along with Crime Stoppers, the SAPD Homicide Unit, and the East Patrol SAFFEE unit will be in attendance to answer any questions residents may have related to law enforcement and safety. The SAPD has always enjoyed an amazing relationship with the citizens we serve. This event will allow us to further enhance that relationship and maintain those precious lines of communication. We thank McDonald’s for their support in this and future endeavors,” said SAPD Chief Anthony Treviño. This is the first of several Coffee with the Cops events McDonald’s is hosting with the SAPD in 2015. Residents are encouraged to stop by the participating restaurant for a free cup of McCafé Coffee and to visit with Police Chief Treviño and SAPD Officers. During the event individuals are encouraged to join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #SAPDCoffeeWithTheCops.
