Cold weather outside and its expected to get even colder next week - single digits! Charlie, Richard and I enjoyed a good dinner - Ill fix steaks and sea food next time - theres just so much turkey one can eat! Charlie is seriously considering going back to Hawaii next spring, his old school friends are begging him to come back, wish it were his family but one can only hope. Being away from Hawaii has allowed him to grow so much. He sure has done well out here. Who would ever foresee that he would be cutting and stacking wood, shoveling snow and bundled up to do so after growing up in tropical Hawaii... who knew! He is doing well out here, has a lot of friends and many, many others who look out for hos welfare. I had my doubts about how well he would do but he has surpassed everything I thought he would. We are finally getting a new Kingdom Hall - it took some doing to find the right parcel of land, then to not have someone undermine the plans to foul it up - two churches here deliberately over bid the first parcel just before it could be finalized. Ive often wondered why the deep hatred. Then an elderly witness whod moved to our area learned of our need and sold us exactly what was needed. Because hes a Witness there was no chance of anyone taking the land from us... we are just 48 publishers anyway and were so out numbered by Mormons, Catholics and Baptist youd think we be ignored!!!!! I understand the Hall will go up as a quick-build next January or in a few days, we can all say next month!
