College has all sorts of students, some who do well exceptionally and apdapt to the system, some who dont. despite that in all the 4 years of engineering, a student looks forward to the 4th year of the engineering because of the sheer fact that he gets to select what he can study. with all the unnerving and utterly useless, except a few useful, subjects that we are forced to study through the first 3 years are enough to distress any student. but the student spirit cheers up at the thought of selecting actively what he really wants to study. now this is what we among our circles as engineering students of IPU know very well. the surprise here is that we are nothing but experimental instruments for the people with big chairs and fat pockets. well if so, well resist it, til we can, til the end. we will have our electives as we want them, and we will not pay an extra dime for this years college fee if they are unable to give us a feasible and valid explanation of the rise proclaimed for this year. circumstances demand for us to be strong, and unite together as a single student body. i expect all of you to understand this, and stand for the right cause. the only final thought for all of the above is- Nothing is given to man on earth – struggle is built into the nature of life, and conflict is possible – the hero is the man who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the values and the road he has chosen. -Andrew Bernstein -Ankit Ruhela
