College of the Canyons track and field athlete Tim White will be competing in the XVII Panamerican Junior Championships in Medellin, Colombia. He will compete in the triple jump at 4:10 pm PST/18:10 local time in the triple jump. White received an invite to compete in the international championship after winning the triple jump at the US Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championship with a school record leap of 53 feet, 1 inch, on June 20. The Junior Panamerican Championships is held every two years to give an opportunity to the athletes from North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean to develop their skills competing with the best athletes from our hemisphere. Congrats to Tim on competing on an international stage and representing Team USA and College of the Canyons!
