Colour Burfee. ..Diwali make more sweeter. .. Ingredients Maida - 1 cup Sugar - 3/4 cup Ghee - 2 cups Cocoa powder - 4 tsp Rose colour - 1/4 tsp Yellow colour - 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Milk powder - 1/4 cup Hot milk - 2 tsp Method 1. Heat ghee in a frying pan. 2. Add maida and fry till it changes colour and set aside. 3. Mix maida, milk powder and cardamom powder. 4. Boil sugar with water in a vessel, to prepare syrup. 5. When syrup is dropped in water, we must be able to roll it. 6. Add maida and stir well. 7. When a thin layer of film is formed, remove the vessel from the stove. 8. Separate the contents into three portions. 9. Mix rose colour in one portion and transfer to a greased plate. 10. Add yellow colour and vanilla essence in second layer and spread on top of rose colour. 11. Add cocoa powder to the third layer and transfer to the plate. 12. Cut into pieces. P.S. If the contents harden, add milk to loosen up.
