Comcast is the only provider in my building. When I try to use my phone in my building Comcast blocks me and wants me to pay them about two dollars an hour for their service. Thats on top of what I already pay my cellphone provider. Often my signal is blocked for hours at a time. When I moved in here I had their triple play which was guaranteed $99 per month for two years. Within three months my bill was $179. Also my phone service was intermittent, and my Internet had to be refreshed prior to each use (that wasted thirty minutes). The only thing that worked was my cable service. Oh, yes, the phone number they gave me had been used by at least thirteen different people who were in collection. I had calls all day and night with agencies harassing me in order to find them. It was not a pleasant experience dealing with Comcast, so this makes me very nervous. I now rely on an antenna and my cell and do not use their services at all, yet they still attempt to control my phone service. Their control of the internet scares me.
