I thank you with all of my heart & Diamond will too!! A volunteer writes: Shes old, her skin is bad, her hind legs weak, shes clearly been neglected, but shes the most beautiful dog on the planet. I love her. Laying quietly in her kennel, she looked up as I unlatched her door and let me leash her easily. Getting her bearings, she stepped down gently and out we go. Shes likely housetrained going potty as soon as we were out the door. I didnt think wed have a long walk, but she surprised me at how very spry she is, walking briskly by my side, tail wagging all the while. This little girl is a real trooper; she has spunk and I love her all the more for it. Shes too thin so were feeding her an extra meal each day, and despite her hunger takes treats very gently. She knows sit but does it slowly, concentrating on getting her back legs to cooperate with what her brain is telling them to do. Diamond should be sleeping on a warm bed, safe and loved as all dogs should be. Instead, she was found as a stray in pretty poor physical shape. She deserves to know love, to know a soft touch and gentle voice, a warm blanket, nutritious food and feel safe.
