Come out and support the Friends of the Arc on Thursday, November 21st as the students of the University of South Carolina, Festival Planning and Management class put on the first ever Arts for the Arc event at Tapps Arts Center!!! (located off of Main Street in Downtown Columbia) There will be live music, a silent auction, food, drinks, childrens activities, meet and greets with Miss South Carolina, Cocky, and the USC Baseball team along with performances from the Columbia Marionette and much more!!! We are putting on this event for the nonprofit, Friends of the Assessment & Resource Center (ARC) so that we can help raise awareness and funds for the ARC. The ARC is a nationally accredited Childrens Advocacy Center that helps suspected Child Abuse victims throughout the surrounding Richland community. They provide anything from therapy to forensic medical exams, forensic interviews and much more. Most importantly, the ARC makes an ongoing effort to assist the abused victims and their families with whatever needs they may have.
