Commander Nield of the Runnymede Borough in Surrey got ahold of our GOODGUY shirt and sent us a very kind e-mail a while back. We were able to send him a package through our exporter, Civil Arms, and he has been a great friend to us. We wish him and all of his officers and boroughfolk (I apologize to him, we simply don’t have boroughs in Texas) a Very Merry Christmas. This is an update from him: “As Christmas approaches I thought you might like a quick Goodguy update. We’ve had a blast since we last communicated. Last weekend Goodguy was out helping Santa on the Watercress [railway] Line’s Santa Express and on Sunday it was the Gordon’s School Christmas dash a frosty 5.5mile run. Funnily enough there were a lot of Goodguys and Goodgals there but only one teeshirt. Interestingly the sound of firing on the Bisley ranges was our mood-music. And talking of Bisley I’ll be [working?] at their Imperial event – a month of a shooting competition. Absolutely amazing. Brilliant folk competing I met a few champions en route to the Commonwealth Games earlier this year. Hopefully the Goodguy will show up there. Not shooting but assisting the British NRA celebrate fantastic people and their commitment. Lastly if any of your colleagues are interested in Law Enforcement and use Twitter why not check out #PolTwt for the next 24hours – well it starts in the USA in about 6 hrs. My lot @RunnymedeBeat will join from 0800hrs local time. So other than adding a couple of photos for you to smile at and share as you wish I will simply wish you and all your friends and family a most peaceful and joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Stay safe!” xs-info/2014/12/19/our-favorite-goodguy-abroad/
