Comms Check.... Some interesting information I learned as a result of our finger printing vendor that is worth noting. You should also share the following. There are currently some companies which are offering finger printing currently for ILL CCW classes. Per the ISP- THERE IS NO CODING FOR CONCEALED CARRY FINGERPRINTS submissions. What that means is that the State of Illinois has not set up their system with a specific code that recognizes your finger print submission for a ILL-CCW permits. Some Companies are (Scamming) scanning fingerprints and holding them until January 5th in hopes they can send the prints collected in with the appropriate code once the ISP has designated such code for ILL CCW permit applicants, in my opinion this is not a good idea and your prints are held in limbo, what happens if the ISP CCW decide to change their procedures or you livescan vendors system crashes??? What do you do? Answer; YOU NEED TO GET PRINTED AGAIN...NO THIS IS NOT FREE!!! There is no benefit to you for having your prints sitting in limbo and it could put yourself at risk due to the ever changing rules. We do not feel comfortable with this process and will not be participating in such a practice or place our clients at risk! Another thing that we have heard is that some CCW prints are being done without the digital photographs. As of January 5th, a digital photo must be included with the print submissions. If you did not have this done with your application it will not be accepted. Prints done earlier without pictures, may not be accepted and your you will be charged again by the state to resubmit the corrected format. Do not make this mistake. Stay with us and we will ensure your not one of the hundreds in limbo. Stick with trttactical for all your training needs. Out!
