Community Acupuncture Works on 24th St is Hiring CA Works is a small CA clinic, with 8 recliners, located on 24th St in the Mission District of San Francisco. We are looking for an acupuncturist who is dedicated and enthusiastic about community acupuncture to work 2-3 shifts per week with the potential to add more shifts in the future. We are looking for: -Licensed acupuncturist in the state of California -Must have Professional Liability Insurance -Passion and knowledge about CA, must have read The Remedy and Noodles by Lisa Rohleder, L.Ac., and/or attended a CA 101 work shop. -Able to start seeing 4 patients per hour including new patients and work up to 6 patients per hour -Clear and effective communicator -Ability to make quick and authentic connections with patients -Working knowledge of the use of distal points for pain management and internal disorders (Tan, Tung style acupuncture) -Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team -Willing to learn clinic systems and help with some administrative duties as well as opening and closing duties -Able to work as a solo practitioner in the clinic with an “invisible receptionist” system -Must be available Mondays and Saturdays and possibly Wednesday afternoon/evenings, plus some flexibility to cover other shifts as needed -Friendly and welcoming to a diverse patient base -Spanish a plus If you are interested please e-mail a letter introducing yourself and a resume to [email protected]
