Community Learning Exchange Ohana Series participants help to add color to a mural project created by artist Solomon Enos. The picture is of uala or sweet potato and represents the growth of these families over the series. The Community Learning Exchange is a partnership between Hawaiinuiakea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at U.H. Mānoa, INPEACE, MAO Organic Farms and Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Nānākuli. The main goal of the CLE series is to connect families to learning opportunities through a variety of formats and Hawaiian-focused content. The series aims to encourage educational advocacy among participating ohana and advance parenting skills through cultural practices and collective community learning.
